In past years, Lindbergh Group has participated in several foreign missions with health- and elderly-care-related objectives.
Medicon Valley
Denmark and Sweden
In 2013, a delegation of 50 Limburg-based companies, health and care institutions as well as researchers went to Medicon Valley in Denmark and Sweden. The objective was to find inspiration and ideas to implement in future Belgian projects. Medicon Valley is a cluster of companies, institutions, research centers, start-ups and spin-offs, which are all active in health and care. The cluster is located simultaneously in Copenhagen (Denmark) and Skåne (Sweden), linked by a kilometer-long bridge across the strait between the two countries.
Arab Health
Dubai
In 2014, Lindbergh Group together with numerous Flemish businessmen, the Flemish Minister for Welfare and Health, Jo Vandeurzen, and Limburg Governor, Herman Reynders, visited the Arab Health Exhibition & Congress in Dubai, the biggest Health Fair in the world. Arab Health is the ideal platform to meet care-related corporations and discover the latest revolutions and trends in the healthcare sector.
Silicon Valley
USA
In October 2016, Lindbergh Group participated in the foreign mission to Silicon Valley, USA, organised by the former Belgian minister Mrs. Ingrid Lieten. There were visits to the Stanford University, Google’s head office, the elderly care center Brookdale as well as meet-and-greets with several Belgian and local entrepreneurs. Lindbergh Group also combined a visit to the Aging 2.0. Conference in San Francisco, an innovation platform around aging.
SILVER ECONOMY CONFERENCE – The Opportunity of Longevity
Geneva, Switzerland
In October 2017, Hilde Bosmans of Lindbergh Group and Alexandre Grutman of InnoFuel CH were speakers at the Silver Economy Conference in Geneva, in collaboration with ‘Friends of Vlerick and Solvay Alumni in Switzerland Association’ and ‘Wallonia Export-Investment Agency’ (AWEX) ‘.
